2024 -Blood Donation Camp

Blood Donation Camp:

On September 12, 2024, the Lions Club of Coimbatore Cotton City, PPG College of Arts & Science, Youth Red Cross, and LCI District 324 B1 Charitable Trust, in collaboration with the  R. Selvarajan Blood Bank, organized a Blood Donation Camp. This event was held in the PPG Auditorium, Saravanampatti, Coimbatore. The camp was inaugurated by Dr. N. Muthumani, Principal of PPG College of Arts & Science, who highlighted the importance of blood donation and encouraged participation from both students and faculty. The event featured distinguished Chief Guest Dr.Thangavelu, Chairman of the PPG Group of Institutions.The event was convened by Dr.V.Haridas. The camp received an enthusiastic response, with numerous students, faculty, and community members participating. A total of 77 units of blood were collected, which will be used to support local hospitals and aid patients in need, underlining the profound impact of this humanitarian effort.
