Angel Investment VC Funding Opportunity for Early Stage Entrepreneurs

On July 25th, 2024, PPGCAS CoIN, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education (MoE) and Innovation Council (MIC), Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, successfully hosted the " Angel Investment/VC Funding Opportunity for Early Stage Entrepreneurs”of Mentor-Mentee Program for five mentee institutions, marking a significant step in their collaborative innovation journey.

OUTCOME OF THE PROGRAM

Within the framework of the IIC's mentor-mentee program, the IIC Activity Q4 Session served as a pivotal initial step, laying the groundwork for a fruitful partnership. This session introduced mentee institutions . One of the most well-known startup accelerators, providing seed funding, mentorship, and networking opportunities. Offers co working spaces along with programs, mentorship, and community support for startups. A global network of co working spaces aimed at entrepreneurs focused on social impact.  Financial support for innovative startups. Pitch Competitions (e.g., Startup Battlefield): Compete for cash prizes and investor attention. The ethos of innovation and entrepreneurship, aligning them with the expectations and resources available through the program. Mentors shared their knowledge and best practices on how to effectively navigate the challenges of innovation, offering tailored advice that caters to the unique needs and potential of each mentee institution. This foundational would establish a strong, productive relationship between mentors and mentees, ensuring a seamless transition into the collaborative and dynamic world of innovation.
