NSS team of PPG CAS organize “Awareness Program on Suicide Prevention” on 09-09-2023. Ms.Dhivya Bharathi.V.S, Freelance Counselor, Social Worker, PhD Research Scholar, Department of social work, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore acted as resource person. Resource persons with expertise in the field of suicide prevention, risk factors are mental health issues, previous suicide attempts, Substance abuse, healthcare, and delivered presentations on various aspects of suicide prevention, including its causes, effects and prevention strategies. Participants engaged in discussions about the role of suicide prevention.
