College Day - 2025

The PPG College of Arts and Science proudly celebrated its College Day & Sports Day on 28th March 2025 at 10:00 AM with great enthusiasm and vibrancy. The event was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest Mr. N. Devanathan, Deputy Commissioner of Police, North Coimbatore City, whose presence added prestige and inspiration to the occasion. The celebration commenced with a warm Welcome Address and Annual Report presented by Dr. N. Muthumani, Principal, who highlighted the academic, extracurricular, and institutional achievements over the year. The Presidential Address was delivered by Dr. L.P. Thangavelu, Chairman, PPG Group of Institutions. In his motivating speech, he encouraged students to dream big, take charge of their careers, and embrace lifelong learning as the cornerstone of success. The Chief Guest Introduction was given by Dr. V. Sivakumar, Head of the Department,  PG and Research Department of Commerce. The Chief Guest, Mr. N. Devanathan delivered a thought-provoking address. He emphasized the importance of selecting the right career path and the continuous development of skills to remain relevant in today's dynamic world. His powerful words resonated deeply with the students, inspiring them to become confident, capable, and future-ready individuals. The event continued with the distribution of awards and certificates to outstanding students and faculty members, in recognition of their achievements and contributions. In the afternoon, the campus came alive with vibrant cultural performances. Students enthusiastically showcased their talents through various performances, making the celebration a lively and memorable one. The energy and creativity displayed made the event a truly festive occasion. The day concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Mrs.K.Yasodha, Head of the Department, Department of Computer Science, who expressed gratitude to the dignitaries, staff, students, and organizers for making the event a grand success.
