Day-3 Cleanliness Drive, Sports Competitions with Prizes , Tree Planting Cultural Events

On the third day (March 4, 2024) of the special initiative organized by PPG College of Arts and Science and the National Service Scheme (NSS), various activities were conducted for the students. At 8:00 AM, officials from the Tamil Nadu Government's Department of Health and the Department of Environment, including representatives from Kannapuram Taluk Government Hospital and Amma Poonga, actively participated in a cleanliness drive at the school premises. Around 10:00 AM, the school principal, Mr. Shanmugam Sundaram, organized sports competitions for the students, with prizes being distributed. At 2:00 PM, a tree planting and environmental conservation activity commenced at Varathayanpalayam School, followed by a cleanliness drive at the Karivaradharaja Perumal Temple premises. In the evening, at 5:00 PM, a session on tree planting and forest conservation was conducted. Dr. M. Vinodhraj, founder of the Natural Foundation, delivered a special speech on the importance of tree planting and forest conservation for the students. Cultural events were also organized by the students in the evening.
