Day-5 Special Eye Screening Camp, Nutrition Feast, Skill Development Training Sessions

Day 5:

On the 5th day of the special initiative organized by PPG College of Arts and Science and the National Service Scheme (NSS), a significant event took place in Kattampatti village on March 6, 2024. At 8:00 AM, a cleanliness drive was conducted at Dasar Government Higher Secondary School. Then, at 10:00 AM, a special eye screening camp was organized by PPG Optometry College and Dr. S.K.S. Memorial Hospital. Free eye check-ups were provided to the general public and students. In the afternoon, at 4:00 PM, a nutrition awareness program called "Nutrition Feast" was held. Mr. D. Padmanathan, the founder of LCDF organization, delivered a special speech about nutrition to the students. Additionally, some skill development training sessions were provided to the students as a continuation of the program.
