ECO CLUB INAUGURATION

The Eco Club of PPG College of Arts and Science inaugurated its activities for the academic year by organizing a seminar on “Eco-Friendly Tourism” in connection with World Environment Day 2026. The session was delivered by Dr. L. Ramraj, Environmental Traveller and Assistant Professor of Tamil, PSG College of Arts and Science. Through the use of traditional musical instruments and nature-inspired sounds, he recreated the atmosphere of forests within the seminar hall, providing students with a unique experiential learning opportunity. Drawing references from Indian mythology, cultural heritage, and traditional ecological practices, he emphasized the importance of environmental consciousness, sustainable living, and responsible tourism. The programme successfully inspired students to appreciate nature, adopt eco-friendly practices, and contribute towards environmental conservation.
