Free to Live: Standing Strong Against Substance Abuse

The Anti-Drug Committee of PPG College of Arts & Science organized an impactful awareness event titled "Free to Live: Standing Strong Against Substance Abuse" on July 1, 2025, at 11:30 AM in the college auditorium. The event aimed to promote drug-free living and raise awareness among students about the dangers of substance abuse. The session was graced by Mr. S. Ramesh, Activity Manager at Abhasa Rehab & Wellness, Coimbatore, who served as the Chief Guest. He delivered an inspiring talk on resisting peer pressure, making healthy life choices, and supporting those facing addiction challenges. A total of 200 students participated enthusiastically in the event, showing active involvement and keen interest throughout the session. The programme was convened by Mr. V. Rathinakumar, Nodal Officer, and presided over by Dr. N. Muthumani, Principal of PPG College of Arts & Science.
