Green Diwali Celebration - 2024

Green Diwali Celebration:

On 28th October 2024, the Management, Principal, faculty members, and students from the NSS, YRC, RRC, and the Department of B.Com (CA) distributed clothes and sweets to the tribal community in Palamalai (the adopted village) as part of the Green Diwali Celebration.        Mrs. Santhipriya Chandru Jagavi, the Village President of Naickenpalayam, presided over the function.The event was attended by the NSS officer, Dr. V. Haridas, and the HOD,                    Dr. R. Kumaresan, along with faculty and students, who visited the tribal village of Kunjurpari at Palamalai. The Principal also felicitated the event, emphasizing the importance of giving back to the community. Our students actively engaged in helping the tribal people, distributing clothes and sweets, while also learning valuable life lessons about compassion, respect for elders, and the importance of caring for others. They enjoyed the natural surroundings of Palamalai and experienced firsthand the simplicity and beauty of tribal life. This visit not only enriched their understanding of human values but also deepened their connection to the community. Kunjurpari village continues to be an adopted village of our college, and the event was a proud moment for all involved.
