The Department of English at PPG College of Arts & Science organized a vibrant and engaging programme titled “Karaoke Friday,” on 30.01.2026 creating a joyful space where music and language came together to enhance communication skills. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 78 students from various departments, making it a lively interdepartmental learning experience. The programme was coordinated by Ms. S. Sharmila, Assistant Professor, and convened by Mrs. D. Deepikadevi, Head of the Department of English, whose guidance and encouragement motivated students to express themselves confidently through music. Students performed English karaoke songs that helped improve pronunciation, fluency and stage confidence, while also fostering creativity and enjoyment. Through rhythm and lyrics, students explored the expressive power of English in a relaxed and supportive environment.
