NAN UYIR KAVALAN

The NSS unit of PPG College of Arts and Science, Saravanampatti, Coimbatore, in association with the Uyir Club, organized a Road Safety Pledge titled “NAN UYIR KAVALAN” on        9th October 2025 at 11:30 AM in the PPG CAS Campus. The event aimed to create awareness about road safety and emphasize the importance of adhering to traffic rules for the protection of life and property. The pledge motivated participants to be responsible citizens by wearing helmets and seat belts, avoiding mobile phone use while driving, and following safe driving practices to prevent accidents. A total of 170 students and faculty members actively participated in the event and took the pledge with great enthusiasm and commitment.    The program was convened by Dr. V. Haridas, NSS Officer, and conducted under the guidance of Dr. N. Muthumani, Principal of PPG College of Arts and Science. The event successfully reinforced the message of road safety and aligned with the vision of the Uyir Club – “Road Safety, Our Right.” It also reflected the NSS unit’s ongoing dedication to promoting social responsibility and awareness among youth for a safer community.
