National Handloom Day-2024

The NSS team of PPG College of Arts and Science organized a "Handloom Stall" in collaboration with the Gandhipuram Sarvodaya Sangh, Coimbatore, on 8th August 2024, in celebration of National Handloom Day. The event was initiated by Dr. N. Muthumani, Principal of PPG College of Arts and Science. The stall featured a variety of handloom silk sarees, silks, and khadi products. Staff members and students eagerly supported the initiative by purchasing these products. The primary aim of the event was to promote awareness about the significance of using handloom and khadi products, thereby supporting the traditional handloom industry.
