Organ Donation Awarness -2024

The National Service Scheme (NSS) and YI Club of PPG College of Arts and Science organised an awareness talk on organ donation titled "Gift an Organ"on September 18,2024. Renowned Urologist Dr.M.Vignesh, from Kumaran Medical Center, Coimbatore, delivered an insightful talk on the importance of organ donation. He explained the concepts of organ donation, types of donations, and the procedures involved and also shared real-life experiences and success stories of organ transplantation.The event aimed to educate students and faculty about the significance of organ donation and encourage them to pledge their support. The event was convened by Dr.V.Haridas.
