Short Film Contest

The Women Empowerment Cell of PPG College of Arts & Science organized a Short Film Contest on 25 February 2026 at 10:00 AM in Lab 1, PPGCAS, in commemoration of International Women’s Day 2026. The event was conducted under the inspiring theme “Lights, Camera & Social Change.” The primary objective of the contest was to encourage students to creatively express their perspectives on social issues, gender equality, women’s rights, and empowerment through the powerful medium of short films. The competition provided a platform for students to showcase their storytelling skills, technical expertise, and social awareness. Participants presented short films that highlighted various social themes aligned with women empowerment and societal transformation. The screening session was engaging and thought-provoking, followed by evaluation based on creativity, relevance to theme, technical quality, and overall impact.
