“Ungaludan Stalin Thittam” – Special Service Camp

As part of the NSS Unit activities of PPG College of Arts and Science, Saravanampatti, Coimbatore, the NSS team participated in a Special Service Camp organized on 31st July 2025 at 8:00 AM under the Tamil Nadu Government’s initiative, “Ungaludan Stalin Thittam.” The event took place at Kettimelam Mahal, Kalapatti Village, Coimbatore, with the aim of extending government welfare schemes and services to the public. Launched by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, this initiative focuses on engaging with citizens, addressing grievances, and ensuring the effective delivery of welfare programs. NSS volunteers actively participated by assisting beneficiaries and creating awareness among the public, embodying the NSS motto, “Not Me, But You.” The camp was coordinated by Dr. V. Haridas, NSS Program Officer, under the guidance of Dr. N. Muthumani, Principal. It provided a valuable platform for students to engage in public service and contribute meaningfully to community welfare.
