The Last Leaf The Blind Man Who Climbed Everest   Book Review Programme 

The Department of English, under the Skylark Literary Club, successfully organized a Book Review Programme on 30 June 2026 at 3.15 PM in the classroom. The programme provided a vibrant platform for students to share their literary insights, enhance critical thinking, and cultivate a deeper appreciation for reading.

The event featured two engaging book reviews presented by Mr. A. Sanjay (II B.Sc. CS (AI)), who reviewed The Last Leaf by O. Henry, and Mr. B. Sachimen (II B.Sc. CS (AI)), who reviewed The Blind Man Who Climbed Everest by Erik Weihenmayer. Both presenters effectively summarized the themes, characters, and life lessons from their respective books while encouraging thoughtful discussions among the audience.

Faculty members appreciated the students' confident presentations, analytical approach, and communication skills. The interactive session inspired students to explore literature beyond the classroom and fostered a culture of reading and literary appreciation.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the support of the Principal, Head of the Department, faculty members, student participants, and attendees for making the event a memorable success.
