Traffic Awareness and Road Safety Deeksharambh 26 Student Induction Programme

As part of Deeksharambh'26 – Student Induction Programme, PPG College of Arts and Science organized an insightful session on "Traffic Awareness and Road Safety" on 09 July 2026 at 10.00 AM in the Conference Hall 2. The programme aimed to educate first-year students on responsible road usage, traffic regulations, and the importance of adopting safe driving and pedestrian practices. The session was graced by Thiru. A. S. Viswanathan, Regional Transport Officer, North Coimbatore, who served as the resource person. He emphasized the significance of following traffic rules, wearing helmets and seat belts, avoiding mobile phone usage while driving, and understanding road signs to prevent accidents and ensure public safety.
