The Programming Club in the Department of Computer Science has organized a One Day Hands-on workshop on proofreading in wikisource for the Third year of B.Sc CS, AI and DA (2024). Proofreading in WikiSource, a sister project of Wikipedia dedicated to the collection of freely licensed source texts, is crucial for ensuring that texts are accurate, properly formatted, and error-free. WikiSource is an online library of free content textual sources, including books, historical documents, and literary works. The content is user-contributed and maintained collaboratively.The resource person Mr. R.Loganathan has given a session about how to edit the tamil content using wikisource and encouraged the students to upload the tamil books in wikisource.
