World Day Against Child Labour

On June 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM, the NSS Unit of PPG College of Arts and Science conducted a pledge-taking ceremony to observe World Day Against Child Labour. The event saw the enthusiastic participation of around 50 students, who took a solemn pledge to support the elimination of child labour and to uphold every child’s right to education, safety, and a nurturing environment. The program was coordinated by Dr. V. Haridas, NSS Programme Officer, and held under the patronage of Principal Dr. N. Muthumani. The event emphasized the importance of collective responsibility in eradicating child labour and fostering social awareness among youth.
