World Mother Tongue Day - 2025

The NSS team and Tamil department of PPG CAS organized a rally on World Mother Tongue Day on February 21, 2025. A total of 100 volunteers actively participated in the event, marching from Government Women’s Polytechnic College to V.O.A Park to honor the Tamil language and raise awareness about the significance of preserving native languages. The rally served as a powerful reminder of the vital role mother tongues play in shaping identities and promoting cultural diversity. Coordinators Dr. V. Haridas and S. Chandrakala played a key role in ensuring the event’s success.
