As part of Deeksharambh'26 – Student Induction Programme, PPG College of Arts and Science organized an enlightening session on "Yoga for Self and Society" on 09 July 2026 at 11.30 AM in the Conference Hall 2. The session was conducted by Mr. S. Parameshwaran, Yakkai Yoga Center, Ganapathy, Coimbatore, who introduced students to the importance of yoga in promoting physical health, mental well-being, emotional balance, and social responsibility. He explained how regular yoga practice enhances concentration, reduces stress, improves posture, and fosters a disciplined and healthy lifestyle, enabling students to face academic and personal challenges with confidence.

The programme included practical demonstrations of simple yoga postures and breathing techniques that students can incorporate into their daily routines. Students enthusiastically participated in the guided yoga exercises and gained valuable insights into the holistic benefits of yoga for personal growth and societal well-being.
